I received a call this morning from my Mom. She told me that my Aunt Anne passed away. Aunt Anne was 96 years old and lived in Virginia Beach, VA. She was the sister of my grandma, Jeanette, who died in 1994. I have always loved my visits with Aunt Anne because seeing her was like seeing my grandma again . . . she had a similar voice, laugh and energy about her.
While most of my memories of Aunt Anne are as a child, I had the pleasure of seeing her again when Christine and Mark were married in 2003. It was really exciting for me to introduce her to Nathan and we have intended on visiting her again many times but regretably have not done so.
"They" say that someone must leave the world for another person to enter. Nathan and I hope that our little one, as she enters this world, can be even half as kind, full of life and vivacious as Aunt Anne was at 96.
Peace to her memory.

Peace to her memory indeed. Sorry for your family's loss. What a testament of history, living to 98. We we all could be that lucky.
Now its just a matter of time until this little one will arrive. We're all anxious to see her.
Keep posting while you still can.
All our love!!!!
"We we?"
What drugs am I on?
