Tomorrow we hit the 40 week mark. I'm trying not to focus on the calendar but you know it's the first thing on my mind. : ) It's a beautiful snowy day here in Chicago . . . it would be a great one to be welcomed into the world . . . although I guess any day would be.
Lots and lots of contractions last night . . from 4p.m. to 11p.m. they were pretty steady and then I fell asleep. Woke up at 2:30 for another one and feel crampy today but no contractions. Basically, it's still unpredictable. Nathan is still working and the doctor has not be called at this point.
The body is changing though and moving along, this is good news.
We are thankful for your continued prayers and cannot wait to introduce our baby to you. She is so, so lucky to have each of you loving on her . . . before she was conceived, during her time in my body and now as she chooses her birth day.

Thursday, February 8, late night birth.
That's my prediction...come on baby Nordlund!!
thats what i was going to say!
but just to make it interesting, lets say friday the 9th, early in the morning. i want to be able to see her before i go out of town this weekend! your baby needs to work around my schedule here :)
I say she comes tomorrow, on her due date at 3:14pm. She'll weigh 7lb 12oz and be 21in long.

I'm not going to make any predictions, because if there is anything I know (and as I get older, the things I know for sure get fewer), it's that babies come when they are darn well ready, and not a minute before. But I DO predict that she will be beautiful, and welcomed, and loved. :)

i'd say friday feb 9th. 7lbs 6oz. i am so excited for you both! i would be as antsy as you are after all this waiting. if it makes you feel any better my parents where told that i was supposed to be born in april and i was born at the beg. of june. seems like there was some miscalculation there. at least you know when the baby was conceived so she should be coming any day. hang in there! i can't wait to see her!
first of all, i adore that new picture of you and nathan. could be the cutest/happiest thing i have ever seen.
while i still want the little one to share my birthday...i don't want you to wait that long!
and my prediction has already passed...so now i'm just going to stick with the fact that she will be happy and healthy!

Wednesday, February 7th, 11:27pm, weighing in at 6lbs 12 oz. 18 1/2 inches long. :-) Can't wait to see her! Hopefully you'll get pics posted so those of us out in AZ can see her! But no rush - enjoy every moment with her. Good luck and you are in our thoughts and prayers!
i'm going to say feb. 12th at 3:54pm...then little miss nordlund can be exactly 2 years younger than greta! :) and at this point does a few more days really matter? :) we can't wait to meet her!!!
I'm with Diana on this one. I have too much personal experience in this area and am clearly too horrible of a prognostocator to make any predictions (I thought Owain would come early), but I'm guessing she'll be petite and lovely.

I'm with Linnea on this one, she needs to come before we go out of town this weekend. Really though, anytime she comes our hearts will melt! We love her so much already!
I had a dream last night about meeting you after you just had your little one. Surprisingly, you named her "Elvia." In the dream, I thought it was the most beautiful name. Upon awakening and now just writing it down, it does look a little bit like a female name for Elvis or something. Anyway, I predict that you will either have your darling on Sunday this week. But, I am secretly hoping she doesn't come this weekend as I will be also gone on the retreat. Perhaps she will be before or after that...we'll see. I am getting sooo excited!

I think that she's coming tonight (the 7th) just before midnight. Just a feeling. What do the Fruit Loops say? (If they are readable like tea leaves.)
