Thanks to Nancy and Julie for putting this celebration together!
I came about fifteen minutes early and was able to see Nathan teach a bit. It was really fun to see him in his element . . . working with the kids, encouraging each response and pulling out great and thoughtful ideas from them on a Friday afternoon. . . I'm not a teacher, but I would imagine that's a small miracle. I also wanted to share that Nathan has been approved to take off two weeks once the baby is born to be at home. He also has a week off in February for midwinter break so that really means he will have three weeks! I am so excited for this time we will have as a new family! Baker has been so incredibly supportive to us and we are so thankful for this; what a gift!
Not too much else is new on the baby front. Having more Braxton Hicks contractions but nothing too serious. Nathan and I are enjoying a quiet weekend . . . some time with friends . . . and wait with excitement for my body to give me the cue.

Congrats again Barbara and Nathan! It was such a joy to see both of you together, glowing at the onset of parenthood. I know that you'll be the most amazing parents. Can't wait to meet baby girl Nordlund!
Thanks Julie! You've been such a great support to both of us and make it so much easier for Nathan to take time off!
Corrie- I agree. Good thing they are only 10 (I've got maturity on my side)!
Once again, you blog has managed to make me cry. I am praying for you these next couple of days. I loved listening to Miss Nordlund's heart beat. Wonderful. Glad that you have had so many nice showers. WHo knows, maybe your baby will come today!
Love you,
Amadna
