Here we go again

I went in this morning for my day three ultrasound and blood test. I am happy to report that the ultrasound turned out well. . . no cysts and the follicles have not started growing. The bloodwork came back well too. My levels were low, as they had hoped and I will start my second shots on Wednesday. Looks like next weekend will be the egg retrieval and five days later we will have the pre-embryos implanted.

These next two weeks will be hectic with medication and appointments and it is my hope that we get the "go ahead "all the way through. There are so many little things that can go wrong and have in the past, so we just pray that this won't be the case this time. During these next couple of weeks we may be a little low key. . . feeling pretty sick and ask for your support with this decision. Hoping that it won't be an issue with work and social plans.

Please continue to pray for us when you can. And always feel free to post a comment on the site. We love feedback.

XO.
Barbara

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and struggles with me. I had no idea before today. There may be very little that I can say to help ease the pain of this long struggle, except that I truly believe God introduces each life into this world in his perfect timing. May He continue to give you grace and hope to endure.

"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Psalm 30:5

Thanks for your support, and great verse that you shared. I think we struggle with understanding God's timing through the suffering but continue to seek knowledge and faith in this. Please continue to pray for the faith and knowledge we seek in our lives, Heidi. Love you.

Barbara,
You're a wonderful writer. There is poetry, pain and pathos in your description of the journey that you and Nathan find yourselves on.

This blog is helpful for us in keeping current with your situation.

We continue to pray for you and hope for you.

Love, Jeannine and Ted
