The power of prayer

This blog was orginally created to keep friends and family informed of our infertility process. And it has evolved into a celebration of Sanne Grace who was prayed for years before she was welcomed into this world. Every day I am reminded of this gift . . . of the answer to so many of your prayers. Thank you.

Today I am asking that each person who reads this blog say another prayer. My aunt is sick with cancer and I ask that you pray for her spirit, for her to find strength, for her to feel peace. I also ask for prayer for my uncle as he cares for her. For his strength, for his peace. I ask that you pray that they feel God's love and God's comfort as they face the cancer so bravely. And please pray for the doctor's who work to fight her cancer. For their wisdom and for their guidance.

God listens to those who pray. Thank you for lifting up my aunt today.

greetings from an occasional lurker on your site. i am always so inspired by your posts and reflections and touched by your beautiful photos of sanne. the other day i was reading your very first post while looking at her picture in your profile bar, right next to your thoughts on infertility and the challenges you were facing at that time, thinking about how rich this miracle of life truly is. my prayer is that you and your family are blessed richly yet again, with great peace and comfort and precious time together. best wishes to you all.

Barbara, I will surely keep your aunt in my prayers. I am not sure if you were aware, but my mother was recently diagnosed with terminal carcinoma cancer and starts her second round of chemo tomorrow actually. I've begun to hate this widespread disease that seems to hurt just about every person/family in some way, shape or form throughout one's lifetime.

Your aunt and her family has joined the prayer list for our family for days to come.

I also agree with the commenter who said that there is great faith in asking for prayer...agreed 100%. We serve a God of miracles, a God of faithfulness.
