I was 9 months pregnant as we stood amidst 30 little stuffed rabbits staring at us as we tried to choose the perfect one for our little bun, Sanne. We both liked that the rabbit was a brown/grey color . . . a nice change from the many pastel and bright toys Sanne had already been given.
After a few minutes, we chose the rabbit that we liked the best and looked at his little tag.
His name was Baxter.
As a child, my favorite stuffed animal was Enna. Enna was given to me by my sister when I was born and later was renamed Old Enna when New Enna came home. (My sister also called Enna "Trash Can Sam" but that was just to make me cry).
Nathan had Steggie. A little dinosaur that his mom lovingly made for him. Steggy is worn with love and many sleepovers with Nathan.
I am not ashamed to say that Steggie and Enna still live with us and while they are no longer spooned by little Nathan and little Barbara they still hold a special place in our hearts . . . a reminder of our childhood and when it was enough to hold a little animal to find security.
We don't know if Baxter will be Sanne's favorite but it looks like she definitely loves him as only a 3 1/2 month old can.

Sanne just continues to become more and more beautiful! And I love Baxter too. How fun to pick out a little companion for her. Jacob won't go to sleep with out his monkey, George and it's yet to be seen who Aidan will attach to, there are quite a few in the running!
Trash can sam was a special name for enna. It looks like your cat wanted to be in the movie. Sanne looks sooooo cute. Christine
