Woah-oh We're Halfway There

Today marks 20 weeks of our pregnancy also known as the halfway point.

Ali asked me last week if I feel like my pregnancy has moved quickly. It's a hard question to answer but one I've been thinking about a lot. For us, our pregnancy began in June 2004 when we started our infertility treatment so the process seems like an eternity.

But to think there are only 20 weeks (give or take) until the kicking baby inside of me is welcomed into the world . . . that makes me weak. I live for the moments in the day where the baby is wild with kicking and I am reminded that there is a living and growing heart and body inside of mine. It's a miracle every day.

Here is a picture I took today. You'll have to forgive my bad photography skills. . . I have no idea where the tripod is (probably in a box somewhere) so I did my best : )
