Coming from my background as a Career Counselor I sure do know how to pick 'em. Just found out that Archeus (the EAP company I work for) will be closing at the end of January. Yes folks, this is one week before my due date.

The thank you Jesus?
We have money already saved for a 4 month maternity leave
I will still have a salary through mid March
I can file for unemployment benefits
I now have great counseling experience under my belt which will hopefully put me in a good position next summer to look for employment


The shit?
Looking for a new job
The fear of ending my job now
Change
Feeling out income and childcare
