This is a spring song, but it is also a song about Barbara and me. Very appropriate for the idea behind this blog: it's a chance to express our feelings about our infertility for ourselves and the people we love. The tune isn't finished yet but luckily, this blog won't suffer you to hear the faltering melody!
What we've made we didn't know we'd need.
What old faith wrote the stories we believed?
Months, weeks of working days go by,
Even though our hearts don't want to try.
Always the same;
Always different.
Life resides in pain
Like new life in lent.
So ring, ring, ring, let it ring!
Let your broken heart cry out and sing!
'Cause truth and hurt were braided to our plans,
And love springs from tears and ashes in our hands.
