It's truly hard to believe that there are only ten weeks left until our due date! I feel this sense of excitement . . . I can't wait to meet her, to see her and to know her. But at the same time I want to relish in this time with Nathan, with sound sleep, with little baby kicks inside. A very good place to be at.
She is now weighing in a 3 pounds and 14 inches (give or take). She has her eyes open again and has all of the features that she will have when she comes in February(ish). At this point in her development her main goal is to gain fat and believe me, she already has more strength in her punch. She can hear and hear. She can also follow light.
I too am growing. My stomach is changing rapidly and my belly button is getting shallower and shallower. I am having more trouble bending and getting up . . . these are welcomed changes because it means that she is healthy and that I am healthy. Still a strange experience to have a body I once knew, now seem somewhat foreign. I think I am starting to have Braxton Hicks contractions as my body starts to practice labor. It's hard to know what I'm feeling when I've never felt it before, but it seems like that is what they are. My veins are prominent as more blood flows through my body and to the baby. How does the body just know?!
So there are the updates for the bun (now affectionally called pumpan (pumpkin in Swedish) and me.
Love to you!
