Pregnant Women are High Maintenance

Or maybe it’s just me but I’ve gotta say, bun in the oven = help from the husband. And I wanted to just say to each of you that Nathan has been an amazing supporter and I’m pretty sure it’s just foreshadowing of what a wonderful father he’s going to be to our bun. It’s so hard to ask for help and I’ve found through my brief time providing counseling, that women especially have a really hard time asking for help. I am so thankful for Nathan’s dedication to our pregnancy, to his patience with my, at times bizarre, needs and his desire to be present at each part of our process in growing this baby. I am also thankful for each of you. To know that this baby is going to be welcomed into a community of supporters . . . people who have loved and prayed for this baby before it was even conceived; it is such a gift. We are blessed and this baby is blessed even as it grows inside of me. The baby’s vocal cords are forming this week, can’t wait to hear its little cries in February.

Yeah i think it has something to do with those wacky hormones that go hand in hand with the bun's existence. An amazing, supportive partner is just the best EVER. And believe me, I speak from experience! Without Jay, I'm not sure my sanity would still be in tact. At this stage in the game, I'm not sure how anyone does without that element (especially when they're a week overdue and a LARGE MARGE) :D

Hang in there, and you're so smart to ask for help! That kiddo will be worth it!
