I brought Sanne to meet Nathan's 4th grade class last Thursday. I tried to be sneaky with my entrance but the rumor of Sanne's arrival spread quickly. As I stood out in the hall waiting for Reader's Workshop to conclude I heard little voices shouting "Sanne is here, Sanne is here!" They huddled around and asked some great questions. How fun to share her with your class! Today our baby had the hick-ups right in the middle of my Math lesson. Second graders quickly forget about fractions when the teacher's stomach is rolling back and forth! I know all too well the mix of excitement, pride and distraction that a little one can be. Enjoy!
