I don't what happened but all of the sudden my stomach popped and it feels like a totally different body. I am in the 26th week of pregnancy and the baby is gaining more and more weight during this time. This explains the total exhaustion I felt all week despite restful nights of sleep and something tells me that my nurse won't be giving me a look because I haven't gained weight next time I get on that scale.
I am continually amazed at how my body just knows what to do to house the little one. Especially after a few years of my body so stubbornly fighting the idea of being pregnant. I'm sure I might feel differently come January. . . but right now, I feel like this could never get old. What a gift to be able to grow her in my body.
Nathan and I can feel her more distinctly.
We have no idea if we are feeling her head or her butt but still . . it's her . . . so close.
We love her so much already.

So cool! You look great, girl. And your house is so cute. Way to be prepared.
Ok, so I'm casting my official gender vote, (I know something about this now since my older sister is pregnant, so I will feign knowledge) that you have a baby GIRL! Maybe you know this already. In Scotland, where Betsy lives right now, they're not allowed to tell anyone the sex of their future baby b/c a few years back someone sued a hospital and won when they had predicted incorrectly. Wait, now that I think about it, the baby bedskirt is fuschia... it must be a girl.
Late in the game but still glad to catch up,
Katherine
